This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Polyglota collects, why we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to use plain language and to handle your data responsibly.

Contact details you provide (name, email, phone). Account data for the AI Student Portal (login, language preferences, learning progress). Content you create (answers, audio recordings, messages). Technical data (device/browser information, approximate location, and usage analytics). Consent records (what you agreed to, when, and from which page).
To provide classes, translations and the learning portal; to respond to your enquiries; to personalise practice and track progress; to operate, secure and improve our services; and — only if you opt in — to send marketing communications.
We rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the services you request), your consent (for marketing and certain cookies), our legitimate interests (to run and improve the business safely), and legal obligations where they apply.
We only send marketing if you opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting info@polyglota.app. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect service-related messages (such as account or class information).
We use trusted providers to run our services, including: Freshsales / Freshworks CRM (managing leads and contacts), Google / Gemini AI services (AI learning features), Lovable Cloud / a Supabase-based backend (hosting and database), Google Analytics 4 (analytics), Meta Pixel (advertising measurement) and Microsoft Clarity (usage analytics). We also communicate through WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and email when you choose those channels.
Some providers process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Consent records are kept as an audit trail. You can ask us to delete your account data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email info@polyglota.app.
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to limit access and protect information in transit and at rest. Never share your password — we will never ask for it.
Our services are intended for users who meet the minimum age required in their country. Where a learner is a minor, a parent or guardian should provide and manage consent.
